AI in Investment Management: Applications, Risks, and Responsible Practice (AIIM2026)

Description
Artificial intelligence is becoming part of the infrastructure of investment management. It can help professionals locate information, analyse large datasets, generate research, identify patterns, construct portfolios, monitor risk and communicate with clients. Yet AI does not remove the need for professional judgement. It changes where judgement must be exercised and what evidence is needed before an output can be trusted.

This course introduces AI from the perspective of the investment professional. It focuses on practical applications, limitations, professional responsibilities and responsible oversight. It is not a coding course and does not teach learners how to build predictive models. Instead, it equips them to ask better questions when selecting, using, reviewing or supervising AI-enabled tools.
